<Long-term Plans for Environmental Theater Residence>

2009 (First year step) ˇ°Scenario and Spaceˇ°

1. To collect and excavates the myth, a tale, folklore in northern area of Gyeongbuk and to search the ability as performing space through surveying the this environment.
2. To promote the residence of artists regarding environmental theater and parade.
3. Construction the scenario through surveying the place with residence participants.
4. To plan workshop regarding street theater, juggling, mask, puppet theater, sound and movement with local community cultural artists and then to construct basis parade base on results of these steps.


2010 (Second year step) ˇ°Characterˇ°

1. To attempt design and planning to make concretely various characters in the scenario.
2. To promote the residence of artist regarding art, cloth, animation, music, manufacture of sound, writer, director and dance to construct the detail character.
3. To work for making character on the basis of local space with residence artists.
4. To product wall picture or animation of working result and to making modeling.
5. To product the cloth, props, sound and music regarding characters of scenario.
6. To trying street festival regarding mask dance and puppets.

2011 (Third year step) ˇ°Actionˇ±

1. To realize action through putting character in the space of 2009 scenario.
2. To encourage residence of artists related to dance, traditional performer, environmental light, visual art, special sound, multi-media and performing planner.
3. To combine dance and mime etc.
4. Making a plan with planning workshops and execution.
5. Combining with a space, and verifying total scenario.
6. We will have led the performance form that developed at Short Case.

2012 (Fourth year step) ˇ°Representationˇ±

1. Playing environmental theater that created on the basis of local folk and multi cultural artists.
2. To combine with a network of the artists who took part to residence program over the third.
3. To try for a way to convert these into a local festival.
4. To hold a forum to continue environmental theater and to rear local grass-roots culture activists.
5. We will develop network of environmental theater artists who hope this work continuously.
